This paper gives review of different activities that women perform in rural areas from the aspect of supplementary income resource, as well as from the aspect of working hour arrangement. Beside agricultural labour directed towards food production, woman participate in food processing on husbandries, so in that manner this work deals with possibility of healthy food production and processing. At the same time, authors involve with women contribution to village tourism development and supply of national manufacture products, folklore and its heredity and women role in environmental protection and sustainable development in rural areas.
