Growing and developing mean the changes of the organism in the course of time, and the live weight is used generally as a parameter to describe these differences. Growth rate is not equal in a wider interval, but there is strong correlation with the changes of the body proportion and it depends on the genotype and the feeding intensity. In the present study, tha authors used two genotype (the early mature New Zealand White, n=46, and the late mature Hungarian Giant, n=48) rabbit breeds, which were fed in two intensity (ad libitum and 30 restricted).
