Английский. The myometrium contractile properties of PGF sub(2alpha) and three synthetic analogues of it were studied in vitro. The investigation, carried out on sow uterine smooth muscles, showed that PGF sub(2alpha) was always characterized by the highest receptor affinity, but that d-cloprostenol exerted the highest efficacy on the longitudinal layer of sow myometrium under spontaneous follicular conditions. The different hormonal conditions (follicular or luteinic) of the uterine smooth muscles (circular or longitudinal) involved variations of the activity of the examined prostanoids

Lo studio condotto su uteri suini ha rivelato che la PGF inf(2alfa) mostra sempre la maggior affinità recettoriale, ma che l'efficacia più elevata è stata riscontrata per il d-cloprostenolo sulla muscolatura longitudinale di soggetti in fase follicolare.
