Effects of hill spacing on the yield of native ampalaya under La Union conditions

This study was conducted at the experimental farm DMMMSU-NLUC Agritec Center, Bacnotan, La Union from December 2002 to February 2003 to determine the effects of hill spacing (100 cm x 30 cm, 100 cm x 40 cm, 100 cm x 50 cm, 100 cm x 7 cm) on the yield of native ampalaya. The different treatments were laid out in Randomized Complete Block design with three replicates with two plants per hill. Results of the study revealed that all hill spacing were comparably favourable for the fruiting of native ampalaya under DMMMSU La Union condition.
