This study was conducted to evaluate the additive effects of berseem (C3plant) to corn or sorghum (C4 plants) on the fibber digestibility using in vitrofermentation technique. Composite samples of berseem (at the pre-bloom stage),corn and sorghum were collected from the field, chopped, sun cured for 3-4 daysand oven dried at 55 degree C. All the fodder samples were ground in Wiley millat 2 mm screen. Dried fodder samples were analyzed for dry matter (DM), organicmatter (OM), crude protein (CP), neutral detergent fibber (NDF), acid detergentfibber (ADF) and acid detergent lignin (ADL). Six combinations designed as A(20:80), B (40:60) and C (60:40) as berseem and corn ratio; and D (20:80), E (40:60)and (60:40) as berseem and sorghum ratio were formulated. These designedcombinations were incubated and NDF in vitro digestibility. Rumen liquor wascollected from a ruminally cannulated Nili Ravi buffalo bull. Data regarding DM,OM, and NDF in vitro digestibility for 24 and 48 hours was analyzed in CompletelyRandomized Design (CRD) using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) technique and themeans were compared by Duncan's Multiple Range (DMR) test. It was deduced fromthe present trail that there were substantial positive associative effects for DM,OM, and NDF digestibility as we increase the inclusion level of berseem to corn orsorghum. There was a rapid increase in DM, OM and NDF digestibility up to (40:60)berseem replacement level to corn or sorghum afterwards, there were positiveassociative effects but to lesser extent i.e. at (60:40) berseem inclusion level. Moreover, corn had higher DM and NDF digestibility at different berseem inclusionlevels as compared to sorghum, higher positive effects. But, sorghum had greaterOM digestibility at various berseem substitution levels as compared to corn.
