Contemporary enterprise has to function under the pressure of making permanent improvements to itself in the conditions of growing uncertainty, chaos and operation risk. Managers have to respect these factors and they should base the planning on the present corporate resources and aspirations as well as the desirable resources base on the forecast of future conditions. In this connection the paper deals with essence of planning, with special taking financial planning in consideration, as a signpost, according to which company should aim at realizing its goals
