This studies was conducted on 11 purebred Arabian mares in Bialka Stud which were effected by artificially generated stimulus of different frequency during feeding at the experimental area. The sound had a frequency range of 50-14 400 Hz and an intensity of 90 dB was generated by the electronic apparatus for 5 seconds. Test results were based on a number of points given to horses for the manifested stereotypes of reactions to acoustic stimulus and reaction time during the test. Moreover, the pulse rate of every horse was measured telemetrically (before test, during test and after test). Results were statistically analysed. Significant differences in intensity of behavioural reactions of horses to acoustic stimulus of different frequency (in a range 50-14400 Hz) was observed. The highest intensity of response at sound emission was at 300 Hz and the lowest at 600 and 14 400 Hz. It was observed that the direct response of animal body to acoustic stimulus decreased the pulse rate (in relation to pulse rate measured directly before action of acoustic stimulus)
