Studies of rates of rice straw on weed control, growth and yield rice under no-tillage condition were conducted at Pathum Thani Rice Research Center. The experiments were designed as split plot with four replications. Rice varieties, SP1, SP90, CN1 and RD23, were used as the main plot and rates of rice straw, 3,125, 6,250 and 9,375 kg/ha, as the sub plot. Each rice variety was broadcasted in pre-germinated direct-seeded rice at 93.75 kg/ha onto decomposed rice straw in water for 10 days. The results showed that weed control performance was very good when the rice straw was used at higher rate and it was no effect on growth of rice. Rates of rice straw had no significant on plant number and height at 30 and 60 DAS, panicle number, filled spikelets, yield and weight of rice straw but it significantly affected on spikelets per panicle and 100 grains weight. Rice varieties significantly affected on panicle number, 100 grains weight, yield and weight of rice straw but there was no significant difference on spikelets and filled spikelets per panicle.
