Influence of nitrogen source on nutrients removal with the yield of carrots -early field production

A field experiment with carrots variety Nantski for early field production was performed during a three year period in the Maritsa Vegetable Crops Research Institute, Plovdiv on plano-chromic Luvisol (FAO). The rates from N12 and N18, applied as ammonoum nitrate, ammonium sulphate, carbamide and potassium nitrate were tested on a background P12K12. The effect of nitrogen source on yield, plant weight, mineral plant composition, biological removal of nutrients with yield and necessary amounts of them for formation of a unit produce was established.
