[Growth stimulating preparations based on peat and sapropel in weaned piglet rations]

Now animal husbandry of Belarus has the big need for biologically active substances increasing immunity, improving exchange processes and promoting growth of animal efficiency. One of natural and practically not used sources, containing in the structure biologically active substances, is sapropel and peat. It was established that biopreparates Oxigumat and Gitin had growth stimulating effect and provided natural resistance improvement on farm animals. When used the preparation growth energy of weaned piglets increased on 5,3-10,4%, bactericide activity of blood serum increased on 15,9-19,1%, lysocime one - on 7,3-24,4%, b-lysine on 7,0-12,3%. Supplementation of rations with biopreparations led to improve of animal surviving on 20%. The best dose of Gitin preparation was 20 mg/kg of body weight
