In the last years the tendency of more broad utilization in agricultural animal feeding new nonconventional forages and feed additives was outlined. It is connected with shortage of roughage and succulent feeds in facilities, unsatisfactory quality of hay, fodder and silage, poor content in rations of readily assimilable carbohydrates and protein. With the purpose of filling in nutrient deficiency in rations different additives from waste products of peat industry are used. In the capacity of padding source of forage can be utilised top little decomposed peat which stores in republic form some tens millions tons. Sphagnum peat contains up to 70% of easily hydrolyzed substances. However in natural peat these substances are unavailable to microorganisms and ferments of digestive tract animal. Therefore the top peat should expos to machining. In this connection survey of a new processing techniques and enrichments of peat which would allow to increase productivity of it in the capacity of feed additive in rations of agricultural animal is of interest. Utilization in young cattle feeding new feed additive on the basis of peat in quantity of 7% on mass in structure of mixed feed promotes increase of dry matter digestability on 2.2%, organic - on 2.0, protein - on 2.3, celluloses - on 2.6 and NNEAS - on 1.9%
