The biological estimation of water in Dnieper river on the basis of phytoplanktons data carried out. indexes of a species diversity of Margalef, Shennon-Weaver, the parameter of uniformity Pielou, the index of Pantle-Buck have been designed. Factors of correlation between indexes and a hydrochemical mode of the river are designed. High factors of correlation show that indexes of a specific variety and organic pollution adequately reflect sewage load on water of river
