Nutrient content of milk of mares of different genotypes has been analyzed. As a result of research it is established, that the fattest milk of a mare of all genotypes produced in May: Don-Kazakh - 2,45%, Russko-Rysisto-Kazakh - 2,41%, Orlov-Kazakh - 2,40%. Mares of genotype Oryol х Kazakh produced milk with lower content of fat during all productive season. It was not established essential distinctions between animals of genotypes of the facility under the content of lactose of milk. For 162 days of a productive season mares of genotype Don х Kazakh have made with milk on the average on 124 kg of dry substance, it is on 6 kg more it was is received from each mare of a genotype Oryol х Kazakh and on 8 kg more, than mares of a genotype Russko-Rysisto-Kazakh have nade. For manufacture of koumiss with higher content of dry substance to have in structure of herds up to 50% crossed mares with blood Don and Kazakh breeds. Whereas the milking mares of herd are grazed on the same pastures, distinctions in the content of nutrients of milk are caused by the natural attribute. Analyzing parameters of the content of protein in milk of mares of different genotype, it is established that to growth of yield of milk there is its decrease. The increase in the content of protein in milk of mares was observed since August. For a productive season the mares of genotype Don х Kazakh have made on the average on 23 kg of protein or on 3,08 kg (13,4%) it is more, than animals of a genotype Orlov х Kazakh
