Absorción, translocación y metabolismo del asulam en Sorghum halepense y caña de azúcar I. Absorción.

Se estudió la absorción de asulam en Sorghum halepense y dos variedades de caña de azúcar, My 5514 y Ja 60-5, en plantas de dos semanas después de germinadas en incubadora a 27gC, las plántulas se colocaron en solución nutritiva Hougland. Se utilizó Asulam marcado con Carbono (C14) de una actividad específica de 10.19 µci/mmol, se aplicó por vía foliar y radicular. Las mediciones por centelleo líquido se realizaron en los órganos de las plantas a diferentes tiempos de aplicado el herbicida. El Sorghum mostró el mayor poder de absorción tanto foliar como radicular. Hubo diferencia significativa en el poder de absorción entre el Sorghum y las dos variedades de caña estudiadas y no difieren estas entre sí.

The absorption of Asulam in Sorghum halepense and two varieties of sugar cane, My 5514 and Ja 60-5, was studied in plants of two weeks after germination in incubator at 27gC; the plants were placed in Hoagland nutritive solution. The specific activity of employed Asulam C14 was 10.19,µci/mmol and it was applied trough radicular and foliar way. The measure by liquids centillation were made in the plants organs at the different time of herbicide aplication. Sorghum had the greatest absorption power through radicular and foliar way. The foliar absorption was greater than the root absorption Sorghum halepense showed significative differences with the two varieties of sugarcane in the power of absorption and no diferences exist between the two sugar cane varietes.
