Efecto de la ametrina sobre el contenido de clorofilas en cuatro variedades de caña de azúcar en condiciones de laboratorio.

Se determinó el efecto del herbicida ametrina (100,µmol) sobre el contenido de clorofila a y b en discos foliares de las variedades de caña de azúcar Ja 60-5, C 87-51, C 266-70 y C 751-75. Para ello se incubaron los discos con el herbicida a diferentes tiempos: 0, 10, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100 y 120 min. en tubos de ensayo, y se determinó luego el contenido de clorofila a y b. Se procesaron los valores mediante un análisis de homogeneidad de pendientes. Se evidenció que hubo homogeneidad entre las pendientes de las cuatro variedades probadas. No se observaron diferencias significativas entre los tiempos ensayados para ambas clorofilas, por lo que no se inhibió el contenido de ellas significativamente, excepto para C 266-70.

The effect of the herbicide ametrine (100 µmol) on the a and b chlorophyll contents in foliar discs of the sugar cane varieties Ja 60-5, C 87-51, C 266-70 and C 751-75 was determined. The discs were incubated with herbicide at different periods: 0, 10, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100 and 120 min. in assay tubes. Thereafter the a and b chlorophyll contents were measured. The values were analyzed by a pendient homogeneity analysis and regresion calculation were analyzed. It was proved that there is homogenity among the pendiente of the four varietes. There were no differences among the assayed times for both chlorophylls and so the content of both did not decrease in the varieties, except for C 266-70.
