Effectiveness in field of two fungicides for the control of root rot of bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) in La Bañeza (León) [Spain] | Eficacia en campo de dos fungicidas para el control del "mal del pie" de la judía (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) en La Bañeza (León)

Se estudia la eficacia de la aplicación de Carbendazima e Himexazol mediante pulverización directa en el cuello de plantas de judía grano (variedad local Pinta) en una parcela infestada por Fusarium solani. Se evalúan parámetros cualitativos (sintomatología, nodulación y aislamiento del hongo) y cuantitativos (desarrollo y peso radicular, número de vainas por planta, número de semillas por vaina y rendimiento por planta). El empleo de fungicidas mejoró significativamente (P<0,05) el desarrollo radicular. En las plantas que recibieron el tratamiento con Carbendazima se observa una reducción significativa (P<0,05) en el aislamiento del hongo y un incremento altamente significativo (P<0,01) en el número de vainas por planta y en el rendimiento por planta. Con los resultados obtenidos, se considera interesante la realización de ensayos complementarios en otros ambientes y con otras variedades.

The effectiveness of the application of Carbendazim and Hymexazol by means of direct pulverization in the neck of plants of bean plants ("Pinta" landrace) is studied in a field infested by Fusarium solani. Qualitative parameters (symptomatology, nodules and fungal isolation) and quantitative (root develop and weight, pods per plant, seed number per pod and yield per plant) are evaluated. Fungicide applications improve significantly (P<0.05) the root growth. It is observed significant reduction (P<0.05) in fungal isolation and a highly significant increase (P<0.01) in pods per plant and yield per plant in plants treated with Carbendazim. Realization of complementary assays in other places and with other varieties is considered interesting because of the results obtained.
