Evaluation of Bread Wheat lines and Cultivers in Preliminary Yield trial.

The present study was undertaken to identify and select desirable bread wheat genotypes under Irrigated condition. Total 82 lines were received including 20 lines from international nurseries,49 selected lines of Islamabad and 14 checks .The entries were compared with the local checks,Marvdasht and Pishtaz (bread wheat check). Selection was mainly based on the field performance and appearance. Out of the 69 genotypes, 21 genotypes were selected for the next season to be evalvated more precisely.
