A field experiment was conducted to study the effects of five different methods of seedbeb preparation by moldboard, plow diskplow and secondray tillage tools on soil physical properties and grain yield of corn. This experiment was carried out as a Randomaized Complete Block Design with five treatments and four replications. Treatments included: 1-Conventional tillagemoldboard plow + disk harrow (twice) 2-Diskplow and Disk harrow (once) 3- Diskplow + Disk harrow (twice) 4- Diskplow + Rototiller (once) 5-Moldboardplow + Rototiller (once) In all tillage methods, mean weight diameter, effective field capacity of primary and secondray tillage tools, number of plant per area, yield, yield components and biological yield were measured. The results showed that plowing operations by moldboard and diskplow had significant effect on mean weight diameter. Besides, the results indicated while plowing operations with diskplow significant difference was not observed between mean weight diameter in second, third and fourth stages of disk operations. The minimum mean weight diameter was obtained when secondray tillage operations was done with roto tiller as compared with twice disk operations. Maximum grain yield was occured in tillage operation was done with diskplow and twice disk harrow. Results indicated that increasing number of plant per area unit, decreased number of kernel per ear and kernel weight while increased biological yield.
