Evaluation the Effect of Nitrogen Fixing Associated Bacteria Inoculation on Rice Growth

The extensive use of chemical fertilizers in general and Nitrogen fertilizers in particular as a restricted factor in sustainable agricultural production is widely recognized and accepted. So biofertilizers have been taking into account as a safe substitution in a few last decades. The most important factor in order to access technical knowledge for producing biofertilizers is to provide effective microorganisms. In this experiment which was carried out in lab under controlled conditions the associated bacteria that isolated from rice root rhizospher in our previous studies and also the Biological Nitrogen Fixing capability of them was proven before, produced and inoculated onto rice seedling root. After inoculation, the rice seedlings were cultured in steriled soil. Then they were kept in phytotron up to the panicle initiation. The findings have shown that the inoculation of these bacteria has a significant effect to the control in increasing the rate of leaf chlorophyll up to 76.80%, in dry weight up to 93.84%, in the number of tillers up to 41.10% and in nitrogen absorption up to 45.36%.
