Study on chickpea segregation populations in national program

In this study 28 F1 , 26 F2, 24 F5 and 16 F6 population were evaluated under rainfed condition at the sararood rainfed research station . The F1and F2 seeds were sown in one row between the parents while the F5 and F6 populations were sown a long with three chicks as , FLIP 82 - 150C , ILC 482 and Bivanij a local cheek . From the F1, F2 andF5 generation , 107 ,200 and 168 single plants and from F6 121 rows were selected , respectively . All the selected single plants will be evaluated in the next generation and all the selected rows will be evaluated in the observastion nursery .
