The use of biomasses for energy saving and environmental conservation: a study case in a farm holiday complex in the Umbria region

Английский. This paper presents a research on the use of biomass for the heating of a farm holiday complex in the Umbria region (Italy). After a short introduction on the problem of energy and the over production of carbon dioxide deriving from the use of fossil products - generating the greenhouse effect issues - it is shown how, by using wood chips coming from forests around the complex, one can: 1) substantially contribute to the energy saving of the complex; 2) contribute to the reduction of the carbon dioxide emissions for the protection of the environment; 3) contribute to the economic saving of the complex management

Dopo una breve introduzione sul problema dell'energia e della produzione eccessiva di anidride carbonica derivante dall'impiego dei prodotti fossili - che genera i problemi dell'effetto serra - si dimostra come, utilizzando il truciolato del legno derivante dai boschi che circondano il complesso, è possibile: 1) contribuire sensibilmente al risparmio energetico dell'azienda agrituristica; 2) contribuire alla riduzione delle emissioni di anidride carbonica per la salvaguardia dell'ambiente; 3) contribuire alla riduzione dei costi di gestione del complesso.]
