Effect of Compost Application Level on Growth and Quality of Leafy Vegetables at Non-heating Green House during the Winter Season

This experiment was conducted to investigate on the effect of different compost application level for the winter cropping system of non-heating green house. Compost application level were differently treated to investigate growth rate, content of chlorophyll, ascorbic acid, and nitrate in the leafy vegetables. Leaf length of Endive, radicchio, Treviso, Mustard, Leaf mustard and Romaine at Compost 2000kg/10a treatment was significantly higher than each chemical fertilizer treatment.
