[Efficiency of the herbicide Sultan 50 s.k. in spring rape sowing]

A field trial for demonstration of the new herbicide Sultan 50 s.k. efficiency in rape sowing has been arranged on the Study and Research Farm Peterlauki (Jelgava region, Latvia) in 2005. The investigations results showed, that in high weediness background use of herbicide Sultan 50 s.k. - 1.5 l haE-1 effectively was decreased number of short-life dicotyledons weeds and its green mass. Results of trials were testified, that use of herbicides Sultan 50 s.k. immediately after rape sowing also essentially increased seed yields, as result to pay off invested means in weed control.
