Relation between dairy farm performance and average inter-calving period of cows

Analysis of technological parameters of a dairy farm has shown that extended average intercalving cycle results in worse dairy farm performance - lower farm productive capacity and calf crop, higher movement rhythm of biological conveyer, higher feed efficiency ratio. Technical, technological and spatial arrangement of calving houses (grounds) is presented, which would contribute to shorter intercalving interval.
