Production and economic assessment of simplified crop rotations with potato

The aim of experiment was production and economic assessment for 4 crop rotations with potato cultivated on light soil in 2000-02. Production assessment of crop rotation was determined on the basis of plants yielding and mean yield of cereal units from crop rotation. Increasing percentage of potato in the crop rotation promoted to increase production value although it was connected with higher cultivation costs of potato. It was confirmed in calculated profit and index of profitability, which had the higest value in two-course crop rotation and the lowest in four-course - Norfolk rotation
