In this paper surplus of nutrients on large area farm were estimated using farm gate balance method, also an appreciation ammonia (NH3) and nitrous oxide (N2O) emission were calculated. Most of nitrogen input the farm with mineral fertilizers but left with sold crops. Nitrogen surplus was highest in 2001 (202.1 kg N/ha) and lowest in 2002 (99 kg N/ha). Nitrogen effectiveness varied from 29.6 to 47.0 percent. Phosphorus balance was more stable, highest surplus 6.4 kg P/ha was noted in 2000 comparing to 2.8 kg P/ha in 2001. Effectiveness of phosphorus use was high and varied from 75.7 to 97.7 percent. The main source of ammonia emission was livestock production. Within a years 1998-2002 ammonia emission from livestock decreased but emission from crop production increased four times between 1998-2001 and decreased in 2002 below the level noted in 1999. Nitrous oxide emission varied from 5.42 to 7.79 kg N2O-N/ha
