The experiments were conducted at Fruit Experimental Station near Wroclaw (Poland) in 1993-2003. The influence of rootstock, budding height, summer and root pruning, plating method and some training systems on growth, cropping, fruit quality and storability, content of some organic and mineral constituents in leaves and fruits was estimated. The results of all experiments were analysed statistically, using the analysis of variance. Significant differences at P=0.05 were calculated using Duncan's or a t-Student test
