Stanacev, V. | Kovcin, S. | Bozic, A.
In this paper, the effect of antagonism between Cu and Mo with S from sulphates on the cumulation of Cu in the liver of chicks is presented. The mentioned above antagonism is manifested in digestive tract by producing heavy soluble copper-thio-molybdat as well as by binding of molybdenum to the protein carrier of copper. Adding of molybdenum and sulphur in the form of sulphate significantly reduced cumulation of copper in liver. During the entire experiment the lowest values were found in the chicks of the 3rd group, Cu 100 ppm and Mo 50 ppm.
