This paper, includes a short review of technological operations for making tractors and, diesel engine components as well as a survey of allowed levels of impuries of complete engines and of their individual parts. The second part of paper deals with the mechanism of oil contamination and with maintenance of required cleantiness of oil according to ISO, SAE, NAS and another standards.
