The results of research in framework of project The Advancement of Production and Rationalization of Tractor Utilization during 2002 were exposed in this paper. General state in tractor field, categories and needed tractor model with power range 30-60 kW were given as well. After that the basis characteristics of cited tractors were explained as the base for development in IMT Co. (Industry of implements and tractors), Belgrade (Serbia).
