Fertility of sows treated with preparate Carofertin(R) on the day of artificial insemination

The total of 100 first litter sows were treated with single i/m injection 7 ml preparation Carofertin(R), on the day of insemination at the first estrus after weaning. It was estimated the significant greater farrowing rate (%) and litter size in the treated vs. controled (untreated) sows. Our results, as well as the results of other authors, consistently confirm that Carofertin(R) injection can increased sows fertility.
