Laboratory experiments for determination on realized temperature field in the zone of piglets supplementary heating sources

The body of a homoeothermic emits heat by the ways of radiation, convection and evaporation. Individual heating sensation is the function of buildig partitions and air temperature, humidity and stream velocity. The most favourable index of piglets heating sensation, in its standing position, is resultant air temperature. In a prone position, the main index is temperature of lying surface. The main characteristic of a farrowing house is obvious disproportional difference between sow and litter heating requirements. So, definition of temperature control for the referential heated area should be known. Realized temperature field is relevant factor for heating source selection. Uniformity and deviation of realized temperature field, in relation to assigned values, are the function of heating system temmperature inertia. Well-known form of realized space air temperature field points to heating source characteristics in the controlling zone during random or controlled air velocity changing. The transmission function of heat flux in the zone of heating source proves energy input for the controlled area. The mentioned features clearly show on justification of microprocessor technology application in the system control of energy and technology input in a piglets breeding cycle.
