Evaluation of mistblowers in treatment of cherry trees

First inspections of mistblowers in Serbia took place in 2006. The inspection in Serbia is still not mandatory but it will enter into force by the beginning of 2007. Laboratory for plant-protection machines inspection, of the Department for Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad, Serbia, has modern equipment for inspection of new and used machines. Inspections were conducted in compliance with the European Norm 13790. The results of inspection show that the machines failed to meet the norm requirement despite their recent make (six years). The paper also recommends corrective measures.
