The paper presents the study results of 12 pear genotypes singled out from the natural population of westerm Serbia. Genotypes differ in terms of fruit ripening season, chemical fruit content, vigour growth and the level of uniformity of one-year-old seedlings. Two genotypes marked 6 and 7 have a high seedling vigour, heterogeneity of the length growth of one-year-old seedlings. Genotypes market 4, 2 and 8 have a low vigour, uniform seedling growth and short internodes. Genotype marked with 4 has an enhanced chemical fruit content, with average 22.4% of soluble solids.
