Cinnamon is one of the main tree species for forest planting in Yenbai province. However, up to now there is no unifiled practice for forest enterprise, especially, cutting age is far from being defined. The study, result of which is presented in this paper, is aiming to find out the solution to this problem. The study was carried out at cinnamon plantation Vanyen, Yenbai province. Cutting age was defined on the base of increment rate; annual yield of bark per ha; growing stock; essential oil content of bark; economic benefit of the products obtained from the stand. The findings showed that the maxium yield of bank and wood can be obtained at 16-18 age, however the maxium benefit and essential oil content could be only at 20-21 age depending on soil grade.
