Fungal inoculant(Trichoderma sp)in powder formula was applied to treat into rice straw with adequate moisture supplying for decomposition. The result showed that, the C/N ratio of rice straw attained from 16.37-21.24 percent at 4-5 weeds after treating. The effect of rice straw manure(RSM)to rice yield and soil fertility was determined through a long-term experiment. The result on average of grain yield in wet season(WS)indicated that, the grain yield of all treatments in which RSM combined with different doses of chemical fertilizer(NPK)was not significant differences as compared with treatment T7 that solitary application of chemical fertilizer(NPK)and all treatments(6 tan RSM+ different doses of NPK)yielded over control from 32.96 percent-41.26 percent. While, in dry season, among treatment in which RSM combined with different doses of chemical fertilizer(NPK), treatment T7 only, and all treatments(6 tan RSM + different doses of NPK)yielded over control from 26.27-36.81 percent. The microbial population and their function in soil indicated that a complete application of chemical fertilizer and control treatment had lower microbial population, ETS activities, protein content in soil as compared to complete application of RSM or in combination with different doses of chemical fertilizer.
