In the period of 2003Ѓ'2006 at the Training, Experimental and Introduction Base with the Plant Husbandry Department of Agricultural University in Plovdiv, a field trial had been conducted for investigation the effects of the following plant growth regulators applied in doses as : 30 ml/da of Tritimil, 50 ml/da of Salvit, 30 ml/da of Trisalvit, 30 ml/da of APC and 30 ml/da of MPU on productivity of Danae rye variety. The results from different variants were compared to an untreated control. Treatments were made in the phase of tillering. The trial was set up using sunflower as forecrop in block method with four replications and area of crop plots of 15m2. As a result of the conducted trial it was found that: the tested growth regulators have caused a positive effect on the productivity of Danae rye variety. The highest increase in the grain yield was found when treatment with the growth regulator Salvit in dose of 50 ml/da was applied in the phase of tillering. This resulted in an average yield increase of 48.7 kg/da (14.8%) of the crop grain for the investigated period compared to the untreated control. The next best results were received in variants with Tritimil and APC spatter applications when the yield increases were respectively by 35.6 kg/da (10.9%) and by 22 kg/da (6.7%) higher than in the untreated control. Growth regulators contribute to higher values of structural yield features, such as: the number of ears in a head, the number and weight of the grains in a head, as well as 1000 grains weight and hectoliter weight.
