The oriental tobacco has peculiar requirements to soil chemical composition. The nutrient balance maintenance by its regular fertilization is urgent necessity in poor reserve of nutrient matters in soils on which the tobacco grows. The aim of this investigation is study the possibilities for increasing yield and quality Krumovgrad 90 variety from 'Field'sub-region /Nevrokop region/ by optimum mineral nutrition. The object of investigation is Krumovgrad 90 variety from 'Field'sub-region, 2007 crop. The following fertilization variants are applied: 1 variant – non fertilization, 2 variant – ammonium nitrate, triple superphosphate and potassium sulphate; 3 variant – combined soil fertilizer; 4 variant – combined soil and foliar fertilizer. The indexes are determined: meteorological, morphological, biological, yield, expert assessment, quality level – expressed by standard grades. The fertilization variant with combined soil and foliar fertilizer is determined from sub-region 'Field'with better economic indexes. The present investigation is actual in connection to the expansion the spreading area of market demanded varieties in non traditional production regions.
