Analysis of the problem of formation and development of the global market of agricultural products mediated through the grain market is presented. Role and importance of the global market for the provision of food regulations on the various stages of international trade development are analyzed. Assessment of the directions of the food market development in the modern conditions of economic globalization, development of integration processes, liberalization of foreign commerce in the context of trade agreements within the frames of WTO taking into account the necessity of food safety achievement is proposed. The model of the multifaced character of the national food security of the Republic of Belarus which takes into consideration all food security levels (national, local, population groups, home economics) is presented. The strategy of agroindustrial complex development basing on the market principles should provide the solution of double-sided problem: increasing of living standards of rural population on the one hand and provision of food security on the other. Program on food security should provide the conditions for extension of food production capacity till the level providing the science-based demands and provide the support of customer demand for the rational nutrition
