[Communities of beetles (Insecta, Coleoptera) in various stages of postpyrogenic succession on oligotrophic bogs]

Research results of studies of structure and composition of beetles (Insecta, Coleoptera) communities in biocenoses subjected to fires as well as the revelation of complex species typical for various stages of postpyrogenic succession on oligotrophic bogs were presented. Processes of beetles transformation were analyzed, indicator species were revealed. In the control fruticulose and sphagnous birch wood unbroken by fire there were stated 50 species from 12 families; in the birch wood formed in 5 years after fire there were stated 104 beetles species from 21 families; in the birch wood formed in 30 years after fire there were stated 45 species from 15 families. Communities restoration proceeded slowly (more than three decades) with several intermediate stages. In course of the first several years beetles colonization of fire-sites took place by means of migration of species from the unbroken biotopes and species which were trophically concerned with birches. At the initial stages of succession the increasing of species diversity and overdominance of stenobiotic Agonum ericeti was observed. Number of Agonum ericeti species was rather high at the late stages of succession. Bradycellus ruficollis, Cyphon pubescens and Lagria hirta proved to be the indicators of postpyrogenic complexes. Species composition, habitation and structure of bettles dominated was identical to the natural communities owning to restoration of sphagnous canopy
