Research results of evaluation of proteins lipidic catabolism of plant cell in response to wound damage and possibilities of their interaction by the example of potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) tubers of Skarb, Adretta and Delfin varieties were presented. Effect of wounding on activity of potato tuber phospholipases D (PLD) and A2 (PLA2) was revealed. Activity of PLD and PLA2 in potato tubers of various varieties and sizes was showed. Dynamics of PLD activity in Delfin and Adretta varieties and PLA2 activity in tubers of Delfin and Skrab varieties after wound damage was analyzed. Changes in PLA2 and PLD activity after potato tubers storage in course of 24 hours and 6 months after wounding were showed. In was shown that wounding dramatically activated both enzymes in the successive manner: at first – PLD, then - PLA2. It was surmised that products of PLD activity could take part in PLA2 activation. Polymodality in PLD and PLA2 activation was found and indicated the complex nature of regulation processes in wound signaling
