[The human capital in an agrarian sphere: a view from items of the theory and practice]

The theoretical and practical approaches to the estimation of human capital of an agrarian enterprise are considered. Different scientific points of view concerning human capital and the analysis of its main constituents are presented. The methods and results of human capital investigation of the agrarian enterprise Agrocombinat Zhdanovichi, mainly the dynamics of the number of employees, their professional, age and educational characteristics are described. The author analyses the results of the productive activity, the dynamics of labour productivity and labour volume of agricultural goods production. It is shown that the level of effectiveness of the analyzed enterprise is much higher in comparison with the existing level in the country. Nevertheless, the enterprise is seeking the ways of how to increase the production effectiveness and labour productivity through the realization of human capital potential. The ways of the increase of labour productivity through the increase of the effectiveness of human capital use are substantiated
