[Sea buckthorn germplasm evaluation on fruit pull-out force]

In 2005-2006 in Belarus for the first time the full-out force for 15 sea buckthorn varieties [ELAEAGNACEAE] and 14 hybrids of various genetic origin selected in Russian Federation at the Botanical gardens of the Moscow State University, the State Agricultural Academy in Nizhnij Novgorod, the All-Russian Research Institute for Plant Protection, and in Belarus at the Institute for Fruit Growing was studied. The research was carried out in accordance with Programma i metodika sortoizucheniya plodovykh, yagodnykh i orekhoplodnykh kultur (1999). The pull-out force was independent on weather conditions in the years of the research and was determined by the genotype of accessions. Mean value of this index was 1,49-2,5 N. The differences were statistically significant. The variety Mariya and the hybrids 4-78, 03-22-00, 10-02-01-98 were selected as the source for optimal pull-out force (1.49-1.56 N)
