Research results of the development of the effective methods of plant growth regulators (maltamin, phenomelan, tabalin) application for the presowing treatment of millet (Panicum) seeds in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus were presented. Investigation results showed that application of studied plant growth regulators provided the increasing of millet yielding capacity on 0,7-2,1 c/ha and increasing of field germination rate in course of three years on 1,6-4,7%. The highest results were stated after application of phenomelan and maltamin. Only phenomelan exercised the positive influence on crop survival ability. All studied preparations positively changed the indices of grain content per head: quantity of grains per head increased on 4,4-10,3%, grain weight per head – on 5,8-12,5%, weight of 1000 grains – on 0,8-2,5%. Irrespective of the weather conditions seeds treatment with phenomelan promoted the increasing grain quantity per head on 24-28 pcs and grain weight per head on 0,20-0,43 g
