[Prospects and resources of the remote sensing of the Earth at monitoring foundation of the state of reclamation works in Polesje]

Methods of remote sensing of the Earth and commercial satellites with parameters available for investigation of the state of reclamation works are considered. Two main groups of tasks being perspective for application of data of remote sensing of the Earth for reclamation works are given: evaluation of need to carry out damage control works or construction; active efficiency assessment of agricultural utilization of drained areas. Assessment of possible technical parameters of survey that may be quite effective for solution of specific reclamation tasks has been done. Example of search of archival pictures with high and medium image resolution aimed to investigation of wettings on certain area are resulted. Methods of remote sensing of the Earth are perspective at revealing of borders of zones on the reclaimed areas with the following infringements: repeated bogging; re - drying of agricultural lands; flooding by spring high waters, winter and summer - autumn high waters; overgrowing of the areas and a reclamation network by brushwood vegetation; overgrowing of networks by water vegetation; wetting; fires on peatbogs. Actual task at which decision the methods of remote sensing of the Earth can appear out of competition by efficiency and cost is the task of an operative estimation of efficiency of agricultural use of the reclaimed areas. This task includes the following questions: identification of kinds of agricultural crops and, accordingly, borders of sowing contour: studying of dispositions of soil types for an estimation of natural fertility of the areas in the future; definition of degree of a contamination of agricultural lands and border of zones of mass damages of the cultures connected with an environment of the reclaimed lands (frosts, drowning, peat-sandy storms, probably, illnesses, pests, damage and destruction of crops from re - humidifying); revealing of not used and not harvested areas. All these indicators have great value, for example, at a choice of objects for prime investments into restoration of working capacity of reclamation systems
