[Natural isotopes of uranium in soils and plants of pine forests of the Minsk Hills]

Data presented in the book are unique. Results of complex research on accumulation and distribution of natural isotopes of uranium in components of biogeocenoses of pine forests of a central part of Belarus are submitted. For the first time sharing of plant cover on an example of pine forests of Belarus in redistribution of natural isotopes of uranium on genetic horizons of soils is revealed. Features of accumulation of natural uranium in organs and structures of species of woods - Pinus sylvestris L., Betulapendula roth and plants - leaders of an alive ground vegetation, including vascular plants, and also mosses and lichens of pine forests are established. Research on accumulation of uranium by vegetation of natural phytocenosises earlier in Belarus were not conducted
