Results of three - year research into productivity and quality of pasture grasslands with different terms of maturity depending on their usage have been shown. It was established that combined pasture - hay usage helps to get a higher output of dry matter in all types of grass mixtures. Changing pasture and hay usage during pasture season helps to get grass fodder of high quality with the content of raw protein of 139.4 - 188.1 g, exchangeable energy - 10.61-11.35 MJoule, and fodder units - 0.90-1.03 in 1 kg of dry matter
