The taxonomic status of three pairs of related worm species parasitizing in man and domestic animals is discussed as follows: 1) Ascaris lumbricoides and A. suum; 2) Rodentolepis nana and R. fraterna; 3) Hymenolepis flavopunctata and H. diminuta.
