A research was done in Srondol Wetan, Banyumanik Subdistrict, Semarang City, on May 28th to August 14th, 2002. The research aimed to study the effect of fermented cassava usage to various values of energy without and with supplemented lysine 0,3 percent on feed consumption, metabolizable energy and blood uric acid. The material used was broiler chicken age 3 days (unsex) as many as 150 chickens. The treatments applied were as follow : E1L0 = 2800 energy without supplemented lysine, E2L0 = 3000 energy without supplemented lysine, E3L0 = 3200 energy without supplemented lysine, E1L1 = 2800 energy with supplemented lysine 0.3 percent E2L1 = 3000 energy with supplemented lysine 0.3 percent E3L1 = 3200 energy with supplemented lysine 0.3 percent. The parameter observed were on feed consumption, energy metabolizable and blood uric acid. Result of this experiment indicated that use of fermented cassava 20 percent with increasing energy level and supplemented lysine 0.3 percent, that is different level of energy, produces the same feed consumption, however supplemented lysine 0.3 percent decreased feed consumption. Metabolizable energy and blood uric acid are the same of all treatment combinations and also each energy and lysine factors.
