Dawdy and O'Donnell water yield model was applied on six sub-watersheds of Bengawan Solo which are located in Central Java. This model has four storages: surface and interception, channel, soil moisture, and ground water storage. Input of the model were climate and rainfall. The accuracy of simulated hydrograph was measured by numerical indicator. The numerical indicator was determined by: standard error, coefficient of correlation, coefficient of determination, and mass balance. The research result showed that the numerical indicators showed that Dawdy and O'Donnell water yield model can be applied on small watershed (less than 1000 ha). The correlation between model parameters and watershed characteristics that was stated by linear regression formula can be developed as method to estimate the initial value of model parameters.
